Hi there, I am Nawsheen Coonjah, 20 years of age. I'm a student on placement at the VIRWC. The reason why I have chosen the Victorian Immigrant and Refugee Women's Coalition for my field placement is purely because their work focuses on women's issues. The cultural and linguistic diversity in which I work in every week is very challenging and enthusiastic. I get to learn and experience so many things at VIRWC. 

I would love to travel all around the world one day so I guess being in contact with women from four corners gives me an 'avant gout' of what's awaiting me!

Apart from that, being from a tropical island, I am overtly ecstatic about water sports, the sea and all that. I also love reading especially real life stories about political or religious leaders, playing with my dogs, eating and I never put on weight!
