My name is Darshika. I am from Indian background and a student of Community Welfare. I am on student placement with the VIRWC.

I like to be a part of VIRWC because it works for immigrant and refugee women by promoting multiculturalism and with many other aspects.

I think women should have equal access to protection, basic goods and service as they attempt to rebuild their lives especially in case of refugee and migrant women. As I am also a migrant, I have better understanding about the issues and so I would like to help women to overcome their issues.

I am very diligent and have "can do belief." I think if you have goal than automatically you can find a path to achieve that goal. A part from this I am self-starter and eager to learn news things.
